Nikol Geipel - born apx. 1708 - ( Geipel is pronounced GUY - PULL Spelling of the name evolved over the years to, GEUPEL ) - Very little is known about Nikol, only that he was a farmer in Oberinth. At that time, the area was known as Bavaria, which is modern day Germany. The village of Oberinth (probably the modern day town of Obertholau) is a few miles southeast of the township of Wunsidel.
Nikol was thought to have been born in the early 1700's and at least by the year (apx.) 1708 as a best estimate from baptismal records of the Wunsidel Catholic Church. His date of death or where he was burried is not known at this time. Note: - there is no link to Mr. Nikol Geipel's parents, in that we don't know whom his parents were.

Photo right - The city of Wunsiedel, Germany - home of the Geipel (later spelled Geupel) family.

______ Pfaff Geipel - born apx. - 1715 - Only her maiden name of 'Pfaff' is known at this time. We also know that Nikol's wife was born in Niedernth. Note: - there is no link to Mrs Pfaff Geipel's parents, in that we don't know whom her parents were.

They had a son named for Nikol, and he is the only child known at this time;
